NYC: Suspected shoplifters stabbed grocery store worker in Brooklyn: cops

A pair of suspected shoplifters beat and stabbed a grocery store worker in Brooklyn, cops said.

The two men turned violent inside the Farmers Market, a store on Eastern Parkway at Schenectady Ave. in Crown Heights, at about 10:50 p.m. Friday, cops said.

The pair set upon a 42-year-old worker, punching him repeatedly in the face and body, cops said. One of the men then jabbed a sharp object into the worker’s back.

Both suspects then ran off. The worker survived the assault, cops said.

Police on Sunday released photos of the two suspects, both described as men in their fifties.
