A former NYPD narcotics detective kept a treasure trove of guns, drugs and packaging materials in his Staten Island home, police sources said.
Police arrested Shawn Kalloff 35, inside his Maple Terrace home in New Dorp Beach a few hours before dawn Monday, cops said, after a search warrant turned up his stash, cops said.
The haul included loaded guns, assorted knives, brass knuckles, a Taser, high-capacity ammo magazines, a large bag and a small jar of pot, a scale with cocaine residue on it, other drug-packaging items, a plastic container with cocaine residue, and THC capsules, cops said.
Kalloff, who joined the NYPD at age 22 in 2004, vested on his pension and took early retirement, sources said. He retired in March 2012, public records show.
Kalloff is expected to be arraigned in Staten Island criminal court Tuesday.
