Bail was denied for the four St. George’s residents who have been charged with the indictable offence of non-capital murder in connection with the death of 21-year-old Bradley Francis.
The four men made their first court appearance at the NO.2 Magistrate’s court before Magistrate Taheria Gellineau on Friday 27th July 2018.
Charged are Kendal Stanislaus, 19 years, unemployed of Woodlands, Brendon Gill, 36 years, shopkeeper of Morne Jaloux, Donte Joseph, 19 years, unemployed of Frequente and Tyrell Frederick, 19 years, construction helper of Woburn, all of whom were remanded in custody of Her Majesty’s Prison, Richmond Hill, St. George’s and will make their second court appearance on August 17th.
As investigations continue and with only four witnesses present at the first court hearing, the prosecutor indicated to the judge that a complete disclosure of the witness list would be made available to the court at the next hearing on August 17th.
Attorney-at-law Derrick Sylvester who represented Gill and Frederick made a clarion call to the young men and women of the nation as the festive season proceeds to stay away from violence, conduct themselves properly and leave weapons at home, noting that it can only lead to one thing.
