Cops find four people, including 5-year-old boy, shot dead inside Queens home

Four people — including a boy about 5 years old — were found shot dead in a Queens home on Monday night, cop sources said.

Officers made the grisly find in a first-floor apartment on 30th Drive at 23rd St. in Astoria just after 8:50 p.m. when they responded to a 911 call about a man bleeding.

They found the bodies of the boy, two women and a man, said NYPD Chief of Detectives Dermot Shea.

The child was found in the middle of the home’s living room, and the other bodies were found nearby, said police sources.

A black semiautomatic pistol was found next to the dead man, said the sources.

Investigators were trying to determine if the slayings were a murder-suicide. “We don’t lean either way, but that is something certainly we will look into,” said Shea.

Only one of the victims was tentatively identified by late Monday, said police. That person’s name was not released.
