SEE IT: Reputed Bronx mobster survives botched hit by masked gunmen

A reputed Bonnano crime family associate narrowly escaped with his life in a botched mob hit — rolling through the street outside his Bronx home in a desperate effort to dodge a hit man’s bullets in a dramatic video cops shared Thursday.

The harrowing surveillance tape captures the hit men making a U-turn in a red Nissan sedan on Tierney Place near Locust Point Drive around 6:30 a.m. down the block from alleged mobster Salvatore (Sally Daz) Zottola’s Throgs Neck pad.

Zottola steps out of his minivan and ducks for cover as a man holding a handgun leans out of the passenger side window and opens fire.

He rolls frantically behind the back of his van as the hired gun sprints after him, hell-bent on finishing the job.

The purported mobster somersaults into the street and rolls for dear life as the shooter unloads multiple rounds from point blank range.

After emptying a clip, the shooter dashes back to the New Jersey-plated getaway car, which sped off east on Tierney Place, cops said.

Zottola, 41, was hospitalized in serious but stable condition with gunshot wounds to the chest and right hand. He also suffered a graze wound to the head, authorities said.

It was unclear if the shooting was related to a June 12 incident in which Zottola’s dad Sylvester, 71, was arrested after squeezing off several shots at a man who pulled a gun on him around 7:30 a.m. outside his Bronx residence. Sylvester Zottola was arrested for weapons possession, reckless endangerment and other charges, and did not have a permit for the gun.
