A Venezuelan opposition parliamentarian yesterday responded to Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley’s pledge not to allow United Nations (UN) public servants to turn Trinidad and Tobago into a refugee camp of Venezuelans, due to small island space and limited resources. Rowley made the comments on Thursday at the weekly post-Cabinet media conference.
Venezuelan parliamentarian and vice-president of the human rights committee of the Geneva-based Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) Delsa Solorzano responded yesterday via Twitter at 4.55 a.m., which, up to press time, had 360 replies and counting.
