A teenage girl took a fatal plunge from a 15th-floor window in Greenwich Village Wednesday afternoon, police said.
The 15-year-old girl got into an argument with her parents about going to a party and locked herself in her room on W. 16th St. and Sixth Ave. just before 4:50 p.m., police sources said.
She then jumped out of the window, landing on a scaffolding. Medics took her to Bellevue Hospital, where she died.
“They’re upstairs now. They’re devastated,” a high-ranking police source said of the girl’s parents.
Earlier in the day, the teen was seen outside her building, arguing with her boyfriend, sources said.
