Trinidad: Five teens held with guns

FIVE teenagers were held by members of the Northern Division Task Force after a stop and search exercise of the car in which they were travelling resulted in the seizure of a Glock pistol and revolver on Sunday.

Police said in a release, that at about 10.40 am on Sunday, they were on patrol along Guerra Road, Calvary Hill, Arima and noticed the teens in a black Nissan Tiida.

It is alleged the driver attempted to distance himself from the police but was intercepted a short distance away and a search was done.

One black and silver coloured Glock pistol, loaded with a magazine containing three rounds of .40mm ammunition and a brown coloured revolver, were found in the car.
